Full Moon, Wolf Moon in Leo : Your Self Care Is The Self Care Of The Collective
This Full Moon, Wolf Moon, in Leo offers us an opportunity to harness our focus and passion into something.
From The Power Path:
Also known as the “wolf moon”, this full moon is a perfect time to anchor your passion into something, someplace, and someone that you love. Go after what you want and consider the well being of the collective and community as they are up front and visible as you stretch your container to receive and give support. If you expect magic and miracles, you may just get them. There are many gifts to be had during this time. Ask for clarity, courage, right action, a good path, loads of support and lots of deserving of the love of spirit.
I encourage this something to be self. How often do we really stop and take stock in how we are feeling? Yes, especially over the last year how we feel has been a big and daily question, but really how are you feeling?
I find this resonating so much with me as I have been not feeling great for a few months. Having recently been diagnosed with a Thyroid condition, my thyroid people will get this, the initial adjustment to it all has had ups and downs and over the last few months I have just been not doing great.
It was only within the last month did it really set in that I had to turn the focus back inward and put myself first with the intention to rebuild, recalibrate and get my whole system back to better functioning.
The hardest part of all this has been giving myself permission to do so. To put things down, to slow down, to not be so hard on myself if I did not get it all done and really to do what I needed most.
To just let myself rest, a lot, as much as I need to, when ever I need to.
It has been a slow whine down.
As practitioner my capacity to hold space for others is basically on autopilot after a career of 18 + years, life as a new wife during pandemic has had my nurturing in over drive. I am having to remind myself I don’t have to be giving (or doing or listening or etc) all the time.
I read years ago that being generous is a currency that increases the global abundance. Self care is not limited to the care to just yourself. When we take time to focus on ourselves, put ourselves first with intentions to thrive in the ways we desire, we create a container for others to tap into and do the same.
Take this Full Moon to anchor into yourself. If something has been calling for your attention, go there. Give yourself permission to ask for what you need, call on those you trust most, know you are deserving of the focus, lean into self care knowing you are doing yourself and the greater collective a service.
